Lets setup camera 1 and camera 2 and viewport that can switch between them automatically. Camera 1 will be the typical camera you're used to looking into the space through, and camera 2 will be positioned somewhere strategic, some place with an interesting angled view on the action. We'll have the equivalent of a motion detector on camera 2- so that when an actor (rollable ball, character, vehicle, etc) comes into the field viewport's view changes to camera 2's feed.
- Undock the toolbox and Choose cameras in the upper listbox and camera in the lower listbox.
- Click in the space to draw a new camera
- Right-Click to exit Draw Mode
- Left-Click on and select the newly created camera
- Open the property editor and select the grey button to the right of the Camera’s Name
- Select CameraTrigger from the menu that appears
- Undock the viewport in the bottom right
- Select the Default Camera: PlanetSurface and open the property Editor
- Select the grey button to the right of ViewLayer
- Select CameraTriggering from the drop down menu
- Now anytime an actor moves into the adjustable field of view, the camera will switch
